An exploration in Geometry

We forge Brasilia™ from pure stainless steel carved by high-power laser beams in a mountain of steel. The screws are then tapped by hand, using a frustratingly arcane process. Afterwards, each piece is individually cut, polished, and brushed. Brass is turned into a plasma and thermally bonded with the facia. Finally, five coats of original lacquer is applied to protect and enhance.

My personal history with Brasilia™ spans my entire life. My parents were married in 1963, and as a wedding gift, they received a voucher at a furniture store in New York City, and they picked out a bedroom set - Brasilia™! - The lowboy with mirror for my mom, the “Gentleman’s Chest” for my dad, a couple of bedside commodes, and a queen-sized headboard. My parents alway had good taste in furniture. I grew up with Brasilia™, and still have those pieces that have been passed down to me.
